Walnut is the darkest of the hardwoods and is known for its rich brown color. This hardwood adds an elegant look to your various interior projects. It is straight-grained and machines well. It has a medium texture and can be stained or polished to an excellent finish. These boards are surfaced-two-sides with square edges. Our hardwood isn’t a finished thickness (hit or miss) and may still require you to flatten, plane, shape or sand your boards to fit your project.

Walnut hardwood

American Walnut trees grow in eastern mixed hardwood forests. They grow tall and straight. Walnut hardwood trees are also one of the least species planted and harvested out of all hardwood species.
