Ash is a lighter colored wood that can add a tasteful look to your interior projects. It is known for its straight grain and coarse uniform texture that can be stained or polished to a nice finish. These boards are surfaced-two-sides with square edges. Our hardwood isn’t a finished thickness (hit or miss) and may still require you to flatten, plane, shape or sand your boards to fit your project.

Premium Quality

Our premium hardwood is 100% clear grade on one side. You can expect no wane, rot, splits, cracks, checks, chipouts or pith.

Kiln Dried

Kiln drying allows us to control the air flow, temperature and humidity so that the hardwood dries 6%-8% uniformly and can be finished to a smooth surface.

All lumber starts off rough. We surface two sides to a smooth surface so it’s easier and quicker for you to start on your project.

Great wood

This ash is a good value.

A great idea

I recently received the shipment of 1x5 ash I ordered. It is beautiful and there were no blemishes or cracks. The great thing about Forest2home is that I no longer have to purchase large pieces and cut them down in my own shop. This saves me time and eliminates waste. I would like to see more species made available in the future.
