Cherry is known for its warmth and can add character to your various interior projects. It is straight-grained and machines well. It’s smooth texture makes for an excellent finish or stain. These boards are surfaced-two-sides with square edges. Our hardwood isn’t a finished thickness (hit or miss) and may still require you to flatten, plane, shape or sand your boards to fit your project.

Kiln Dried

Kiln drying allows us to control the air flow, temperature and humidity so that the hardwood dries 6%-8% uniformly and can be finished to a smooth surface.

Surfaced-2-Sides

All lumber starts off rough. We surface two sides to a smooth surface so it’s easier and quicker for you to start on your project.

Worked for my project

I used the 1x6x15/16 cherry wood for a guitar stand. Edge glued the boards to get a 12" wide board. Everything about the wood is great, all heartwood and great grain. I would certainly purchase it again if the needs arises.

Beautiful wood

I retired over the summer and needed to stay out of my wife's hair. I was looking at making Christmas presents and started making bandsaw boxes. I have used cherry, walnut, oak, and ash in my builds. The wood that I received was beautiful and just right for my projects. I really enjoy the hand written notes on the inside of the delivery boxes and the free shipping is great. The cherry wood I ordered was ready to go out of the box. My small shop has no room for a planer, so milled wood helps me get started on my projects right away. I made some beautiful cutting boards and coasters.
